Competitions

All our programs and events we host is driven by a single, powerful mission: to cultivate well-rounded STEM talent ready to solve the challenges of tomorrow.

We believe true leadership is built on a foundation of social responsibility, collaboration, innovation, and a global perspective. Through project-based learning, hands-on workshops, and a robust ecosystem of mentors, we provide the tools and opportunities for young minds to not just learn STEM, but to become the leaders our future needs.

Our Core Programs

FIRST® LEGO® League Programs

For our younger innovators (Grades 4-8), FLL is the ultimate introduction to robotics and real-world problem-solving. Students work in teams to design, build, and code robots for exciting, theme-based challenges.

Where Our Community Comes Together

At SBC, community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that real growth happens when learning is shared and connections are made. Our diverse calendar of events is designed to strengthen skills and build friendships, creating a space where everyone belongs.

For Skill-Building & Career Prep

  • Tech Talks: Hear directly from industry professionals at leading local companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google about emerging technologies and career paths.

  • Crash Courses & Workshops: Master specific skills in short, intensive sessions. Popular topics include our FLL & FTC Crash Courses, Judge Interview Prep, Fundraising 101, and Public Speaking 101.

For Connection & Fun

  • FLL Parent Meetups: A welcoming space for parents and coaches to connect, share resources, and support one another.

  • Team Socials & Mixers: A great way for students from different teams to connect, collaborate, and build lasting friendships.

  • Community Movie Nights: Kick back and get inspired. Join us for classic sci-fi, tech documentaries, and, of course, popcorn.

An Ecosystem of Support

Our strength lies in our connections. We are actively building a powerful ecosystem by partnering with universities, educational institutions, and a growing network of industry professionals who serve as mentors, speakers, and advisors. This ensures our students receive the most relevant guidance and a clear view of their future career possibilities.

FIRST® LEGO® League introduces STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) to children ages 4-16 (varies by region) through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Participants gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided, global robotics program using LEGO® technology, helping today’s students, families, and educators build a better future together. FIRST LEGO League’s three divisions inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills and showcase what they learned.
